WWE’s quarterly earnings report was released today and the company is reporting that their fourth-quarter profit fell 35 percent. The drop is being blamed on lower ticket sales for house shows, pay per views, and television taping, as well as lower advertising revenue.
Live show revenue was down 10 percent, to $92.3 million, due to the loss of television advertising revenue that the company lost after leaving Spike TV for the USA Network.
