- Mickie James landed the guest appearance on the USA Network show Psych because James Roday - the lead actor of the show as the faux-psychic character Shawn Spencer - is a big wrestling fan and personally requested her services after he found out about the episode’s scheduled storyline. James told ComedyCentric.com that she spending a lot of time on skates while filming the show. However, she also said it was no big deal since she had prior exposure through her mom’s former job at a place called Skateland.
