As I reported yesterday exclusively on the PM News Brief on WNW Premium, it does not look like Ken Kennedy is in jeopardy of losing his job with World Wrestling Entertainment. There had been some speculation with Kennedy's contract coming due that the company would opt to let him go because he is so injury prone.
From what I have been told, WWE wants Kennedy under contract to promote the upcoming straight-to-DVD film "Behind Enemy Lines: Columbia" which stars Kennedy. The film was done by WWE Studios in conjunction with 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment and is expected to be released in early 2009.
Kennedy is currently out after undergoing surgery for a torn labrum. He is expected to return to the ring in late March-early April.
