The stars of Tropic Thunder have been in London for the UK premiere of the hit comedy.
But rather than spending their time signing autographs and posing for snaps with fans, they've again spent their interview time defending the controversial flick.
Demonstrators protested at the film's LA premiere in August because of its use of the word "retard."
Ben Stiller's comedy also features Robert Downey Jr as a Method Actor who "blacks up" to play an African-American soldier.
But Stiller insists his intention had been to mock actors who "do wrong-headed things in their quest to be taken seriously."
He told the BBC News website: "Once people see the film, it's pretty clear where the humour's coming from."
Jack Black said he was surprised the film has been criticised for its treatment of disabled people. "I thought, if anything, Robert would get the heat mostly because what he does seems to be the most sensitive taboo. You're not supposed to portray characters of that particular tone.
"I guess you never know where sensitivity will crop up."
Black claims Tropic Thunder's script "makes fun of the whole world."
He added: "I think we were pretty equal opportunity."
Tropic Thunder opens in the UK on Friday, 19 September.
