WWE will be making two major television changes this week:
- ECW will be moving timeslots starting this Tuesday. The show will move back an hour from 10:00 p.m. ET/ 9:00 p.m. CT to 9:00 p.m. ET/ 8:00 p.m. CT. The time change is all part of WWE trying to keep a TVPG rating.
- SmackDown will be moving networks this week to MyNetworkTV. WWE will kick off their relationship with the network on Thursday at 8:00 p.m. ET when they air a one-hour special featuring clips from WrestleMania XXIV. According to the official WWE website, they will show the clips from the Floyd Mayweather/Big Show match, The Undertaker continuing his winning streak, and Ric Flair's farewell to professional wrestling.
SmackDown will then debut on the network Friday at 8:00 p.m. ET. The below matches have been confirmed for the show:
Triple Threat Match:
- WWE Champion Triple H vs. World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho vs. ECW Champion Matt Hardy
- United States Champion Shelton Benjamin vs. Intercontinental Champion Santino Marella
All-Star Eight-Man Tag Team Match
- Kane, JBL, MVP & The Brian Kendrick vs. Rey Mysterio, Finlay, Batista & Jeff Hardy
- Divas Champion Michelle McCool vs. Women's Champion Beth Phoenix
- WWE Tag Team Champions Primo & Carlito vs. World Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase
