The Charleston Post and Courier's Mike Mooneyham column from last weekend updated the status of Ric Flair and his newest relationship. While it is with a woman, it is strictly professional. His new agent is Elaine Gillespie of Columbia, South Carolina's Gillespie Agency. While the agency has a 20+ year history of public relations in South Carolina, Ric Flair became their first wrestler/client when Flair met Gillespie at her office to discuss website design. He said he was so impressed, he asked, "How would you like to be my agent?" Since landing Flair as a client on August 3, Gillespie has entertained over 1000 requests for Flair to make public appearances ranging from movies and television shows to autograph sessions and a trading card line. His schedule is booked "well into 2009." Flair's name has allowed Gillespie to sign Roddy Piper and Mick Foley as clients as well.
