The 2008 Survivor Series poster is based around Randy Orton, so I'd expect he'll return to the ring by that event, if not sooner. The latest I've heard was late October but he could be held out until the PPV to be safe.
There are hopes John Cena will be able to return by Survivor Series as well, since it's in his hometown of Boston, MA.
