A Hampshire couple spent three months collecting litter from the streets to fund their honeymoon flight.
John and Ann Till put 60,000 items through a Tesco recycling machine for club card points, reports the Daily Mirror.
These were then turned into 36,000 British Airways air miles. The couple went to the States by boat then flew back business class from Atlanta.
Ann, 24, from Petersfield, Hants, said: "We were posting 600 items a time."
John, 31, added: "It did raise a smile when we were in business class on the flight back to Gatwick to think that the litter louts of Petersfield had paid for the pleasure."
