Madonna put her marital woes behind her and gave a dazzling performance just hours after announcing her divorce from Guy Ritchie.
Fans at the Boston gig said the superstar looked better than ever - maybe even pleased that the split had finally been confirmed after months of tabloid rumours.
The 50-year-old singer seemed to give extra punch to lyrics about being 'back on the market' as she revelled to the noise of 20,000 cheering fans.
She was clearly not going to let anything like the end of a seven-year marriage affect her performance as she ploughed on with her Sticky & Sweet world tour.
Madonna did not mention the divorce once - only urging her faithful to vote for Democrat Barack Obama in the upcoming US elections.
"It seemed really cathartic and when she was singing certain songs about being single or being available, she seemed to be more emphatic," said one fan.
