A representative for former WCW and WWE star Vito LoGrasso (Big Vito) issued the following press release:
BIG VITO'S CHARGES DISMISSED
Tampa, FL – It is with great relief that charges have been dismissed against Vito LoGrasso (Big Vito) by the State Attorney’s office. The case was closed on October 14, 2008. LoGrasso was wrongfully accused.
“I would like to thank the State’s Attorney’s office for acting so swiftly on this matter and the Hillsborough County Sherriff’s Office for treating me fairly along with my attorney, Richard Adamy.” said LoGrasso. “I would like this matter to be considered closed and is an experience that I never wish to have again.”
Big Vito also thanks the fans and media for their continued support through this ordeal.
Lograsso was arrested late last month in Tampa, Florida and charged with battery during a domestic violence incident. The incident did not occur in Lograsso's home. Lograsso, who listed himself as unemployed on the arrest record, was released the following day on his own recognizance.
