WWE took a shot at the December to Dismember pay-per-view in the December issue of WWE Magazine as on their monthly calendar in the December 3rd slot it reads: "2 Years Ago Today WWE’s first and only December to Dismember pay-per-view airs, leaving us with one of the all-time best PPV, um posters." For those that do not remember, it was the night after December to Dismember on December 4, 2006 that Vince McMahon removed Paul Heyman from his creative position with the ECW brand. Heyman has since disputed what happened saying that his ideas were overruled by McMahon.
