- In Milwaukee, WTMJ sports anchor Lance Allan and WSSP reporter Steve Fifer are doing what’s being billed as the first pro wrestling match between rival station sports reporters on December 5th in Waukesha, WI. The match will see WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler team with Allan and King Kong Bundy teaming with Fifer. Allan has actually done a few pro wrestling matches in the past.
- New York independent wrestler Danny Angus was stabbed on October 25th near his home in the city. He was rushed to the hospital and put under close observation due to internal bleeding. They were expecting emergency surgery but it was determined that wasn’t needed. The suspect was caught by police and is now facing prison time.
- Jimmy Hart is in contention for a role on a CMT reality TV show called Gold Country. The show is about taking rock stars who have a gold record and teaching them how to do country music. Hart was a part of The Gentry’s in the 1960’s.
