Former World Heavyweight champion Batista returned to in-ring action this weekend during a live Smackdown! event in Portland, Maine. Batista and current World Heavyweight champ Rey Mysterio teamed together to defeat Mark Henry and Booker T.
Batista has been out of action since January 8th when he suffered an injury that required surgery. Batista relenquished his title two days later on SmackDown! and has been rehabbing ever since.
"The Animal" will be returning to television on the July 7th edition of WWE SmackDown!
