WWE has sent Edward Leslie (a/k/a Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake) a cease-and-desist letter requesting that he stop using the Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake name, reports TMZ.com. WWE claims that they own the trademark to the name and that Brutus stopped using it when he went to WCW back in the 90s.
Lawyers for Brutus claim that he has been using the name since 2000 and that WWE has not taken any action until now.
Brutus is currently a trainer on Hulk Hogan's Celebrity Championship Wrestling reality series on CMT.
