According to Florida newspaper The Orlando Sentinel, WWE's flagship pay-per-view generated over $50 Million in revenue for Central Florida. Enigma Research Group of Toronto conducted a study after the event and came up with the large figure. The article also reported that Wrestlemania "drew fans from all 50 states and 21 countries, according to the Central Florida Sports Commission. About 3/4 of spectators came from beyond Central Florida and stayed an average of 3.8 nights. The Enigma Research Group concluded that $1.8 Million was generated in tax revenue."
