After tonight's edition of WWE Raw went off the air, Chris Jericho finally released his hold on John Cena on the outside and got in the ring. Jericho cut what was described to us as a great heel promo which drew a lot of heat from the live crowd. Batista ended up coming out and hit Jericho with a spinebuster.
Batista cut a hometown hero promo in the ring after taking out Jericho. He greeted fans at ringside on his way to the back.
There was no dark match main event as advertised.
