Edge’s Return to SmackDown as WWE Champion Does Record Numbers

- The 11/28 edition of WWE’s Friday Night SmackDown featuring Edge’s first night back as WWE Champion averaged a 1.3 cable rating with 3.78 million viewers.

The show was the most viewers ever for a MyNetworkTV broadcast, beating the previous week’s 3.76 million.

It was a huge surprise at Survivor Series and not much was said after Edge arrived so I am guessing alot of people wanted to see the aftermath of Surivior Series.

MyNetworkTV may have been a bad move if 1.3 is a new high for smackdown...we don't even get it here. They definately should have moved to a different night as well.
