WWE is happy that Randy Orton is able to work the PPV this weekend, because there was fear that he would have to be replaced and would be unable to compete against Angle.
WWE has sent Orton to the United Kingdom to do promotion for Vengeance. However, Orton was sent over to the UK to replace Edge who was originally scheduled to make the trip. Edge has been in pain ever since being dropped on his head by Tommy Dreamer. WWE felt it would be a good time to give him a few days off before the big show this weekend. Also, it is expected that Edge will reclaim the title, thus WWE needs him to be healthy heading out of the weekend.
