The last word that I heard on Tomko was that he suffered a tear of his rear deltoid muscle in his dark match with Paul Burchill. Apparently WWE is giving him a chance to rehab the injury before a decision is made about his future. There have been reports that Tomko had heat, then there were reports Tomko requested his release, but now the word is that WWE officials are concerned with his health and nothing else at this point.
