Former 'ER' star Maria Bello has agreed a deal to develop and star in a new series for US cable channel HBO.
Variety reports that the as-yet-untitled series tells the story of a recently widowed woman who turns to a life of crime in order to support her teenage sons.
In the course of her criminal pursuits, the woman uses her sons as henchmen.
Bello, who played Dr Anna Del Amico in 'ER', will also executive produce the series.
