John Cena's merchandise numbers for 2008 were the best of anyone in WWE history except Steve Austin during his peak years and Hulk Hogan in the 1980's. Despite people booing Cena, as long as his merchandise is selling like it is, they won't be turning him heel.

I wonder if anyone in the WWE cares how many were kid sized or female shirts. Actually I don't, because I already know that they don't. Money is money and this is a business. If you make the company the most money, than you deserve to be the #1 guy.

I've said it on this forum a few other times but you can't knock Cena. So he's not the greatest in-ring guy ever...big deal. The guy makes the WWE 100's of millions of $$$$. It's like Kevin Nash said "Who's the greatest worker of all time? Hulk Hogan. He made the most money."
