WWE Legend KAMALA To Appear at Port Perry Polar Plunge

Great Canadian Wrestling (GCW) is excited to announce their partnership with Port Perry for the second annual Polar Plunge this Saturday, January 10, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in Palmer Park. WWE Legend 'The Ugandan Giant' Kamala will be appearing at the event as brave souls challenge the bone chilling cold of Lake Scugog.
All are invited to be a part of this weekend's Port Perry Polar Plunge, an event that raised over $13,000 last year in its inauguration. There will be coffee and hot chocolate in the park for those who have come to cheer the plungers on. An award ceremony will be held in the Latcham Centre after the plunge and a hot lunch will be offered by the Auxiliary.
Saturday starts with Polar Plunge supporters battling the cold weather by taking a jump in the lake, and ends with the superstars of Great Canadian Wrestling as they heat up the Scugog Community Centre. Over 20 superstars are scheduled to appear, including the 'The Ugandan Giant' Kamala, stepping into the squared circle to wrestle the region's top talent.
