LAW.com has a new article online about WWE's new general counsel, Jared Bartie. Bartie, a Cambridge, Massachusetts native, comes to WWE after being the chief administrative officer and general counsel for the Charlotte Bobcats since 2007. In the article he talks about being a wrestling fan, watching it on Saturday mornings. This however, isn’t his first time being employed by Vince McMahon as he was hired in 2001 as the vice president of legal affairs for the XFL. Since then he has also served as chief legal officer and general counsel for the United States Tennis Association as well as vice president of team marketing and business operations at the National Basketball Association.
