Early estimates for the Survivor Series 2008 pay-per-view buyrate is 326,000 buys, with about 205,000 of those in North America. This would be the lowest number for domestic buys in Survivor Series history as the previous year's first estimates were 341,000 with 215,000 in North America. Survivor Series has always been considered number 4 of the so-called big four pay-per-views but if 2007 is any indication, it will now become number 5 to the No Way Out pay-per-view as the show with the Elimination Chamber did an estimated 230,000 North American buys.
With this year's show featuring the return of John Cena and the website storyline with Jeff Hardy, these numbers could be considered disappointing.
