Shawn Michaels’s autobiography has sold very well, actually outselling Eddie Guerrero’s “Cheating Death, Stealing Life: The Eddie Guerrero Story” this year. Book industry BookScans indicate that Guerrero’s autobiography has sold 33.212 copies while HBK’s “Heartbreak and Triumph: The Shawn Michaels Story” has moved 45,478 copies. Coming in at a distant third for the year is “Superstar Billy Graham: Tangled Ropes” moving 5,232 copies. In comparison, Hulk Hogan’s autobiography in 2002-2003 moved over 57,000 copies and Ric Flair’s autobiography sold over 62,000.
For those that have asked, “The Master Piece” Chris Masters was removed from WWE television to handle some substance abuse issues. Masters is currently away seeking treatment to battle his demons.
Greg Gane will co-book OVW TV with Al Snow and Danny Davis, replacing Paul Heyman, who left OVW to work full-time with ECW.
