Pop singer and 'X Factor' judge Cheryl Cole has reportedly been offered a £5 million deal to pen a range of novels.
According to The People, the Girls Aloud star has been approached to write a number of books aimed at female readers.
A source said: "At the moment Cheryl can do no wrong. Whatever she touches turns to gold."
"She was a singing star in Girls Aloud, but after her instant success as a judge on 'X Factor' she's reached another level."
"Girl fans love her and they will all want to read her books. She's been offered a deal for four of five romantic novels which could be worth up to £5 million."
"She hadn't previously thought of writing, but she's come around to the idea," the source said.
