USA Network nearly ran the table last week, securing eight of the top 10 most-watched programs on ad-supported cable on the way to its fourth consecutive prime-time ratings win.

According to Nielsen live-plus-same-day ratings data, USA averaged 3.15 million total viewers in the week ended Feb. 1, thanks to new episodes of its original series Monk, Burn Notice and Psych, as well as a strong showing by its WWE Raw showcase.

The Jan. 30 episode of Monk drew 5.93 million total viewers in the 9 p.m. time slot, trailing only TNT’s season-four premiere of The Closer (6.24 million). On the previous night, a new installment of Burn Notice scared up 5.38 million viewers, of which 2.85 million were members of the 25-54 demo.

Meanwhile, WWE Raw delivered an average audience of 5.17 million viewers on Jan. 26 (9 p.m.-11 p.m.), and three episodes of NCIS served up more than 4.2 million viewers in each of the first three nights of the week.

USA also took the top three demos in prime time, averaging 1.46 million adults 25-54, 1.41 million viewers 18-49 and 628,000 18-34s.

Fox News Channel last week took second place, averaging 2.39 million viewers in prime, while TNT grabbed the bronze with a delivery of 2.09 million viewers. In addition to seeing big numbers from The Closer––the show ranked second among its core demo, drawing 2.7 million adults 25-54––the Turner net also got a lift from the debut of its new series Trust Me, which retained 55 percent of its Closer lead-in, drawing 3.4 million viewers Monday at 10 p.m.

TNT supplied its best demo delivery with the 25-54 set, averaging 1.03 million viewers on the week.

Fourth place went to TBS (1.74 million), and Nickelodeon/Nick-at-Nite closed out the top five with 1.56 million viewers. TBS put together some solid demo numbers, averaging 1.03 million viewers 18-49, 875,000 25-54s and 594,000 viewers 18-34.

The week’s top programs among 18-49s were: WWE Raw (2.7 million viewers), Burn Notice (2.62 million), Bravo’s Top Chef (2.28 million), TLC’s Jon & Kate Plus 8 (2.17 million), FX’s Nip/Tuck (2.02 million), The Closer (1.94 million), VH1’s Real Chance of Love (1.85 million), Monk (1.83 million) and TBS’ Tuesday 9:30 p.m. showing of Family Guy (1.74 million).
