The ESPN Radio website has uploaded an interview that Brian Kenny conducted with Mickey Rourke on his Brian Kenny radio show. The interview is very insightful with Rourke talking about Vince McMahon's response to "The Wrestler" and how nervous he and everyone was when they showed the film to "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, Ric Flair, and other wrestling legends.
Rourke said he wants to go to WrestleMania in April to do everything that he can to help Vince McMahon promote the show because of how much he appreciated McMahon's response to the movie. Rourke went on to talk about Chris Jericho and how he lost the starring role in "The Wrestler" to Nicolas Cage only to get it back.
It is also interesting to note that Rourke admitted to not seeing "The Wrestler" yet.
