'X Factor' bosses are reportedly concerned that Victoria Beckham would be "too guarded" if she was signed up as a judge for the show.
According to the Daily Star, a source said: "Her über-cool image wouldn't translate well on screen."
"They really need a big character, someone with strong opinions who's not afraid to get into a row on live TV."
"Victoria is trying to carve a trendy career in fashion and there are fears she'd be too guarded when they really wanted someone to get stuck in."
Singer Lily Allen has said that she would love to be a judge on the talent show.
