Backstage Update On Christian

Last night on ECW, it was announced that ECW Champion Jack Swagger will defend the title against Christian on next week's show. Christian has now pinned Swagger two weeks in a row - last week in a non-title match and this week in a tag match. Christian was originally supposed to be Jeff Hardy's attacked, but Vince was furious when those reported leaked out on websites like this one, and gave the role to Matt Hardy instead. During his negotiations with WWE, Christian was given the impression that he could be put immediately into a main event storyline with someone he has a history with (ex: Hardy, Edge), however obviously that didn't happen. It's unknown what Christian's personal thoughts are on being assigned to ECW as he generally keeps to himself backstage.

He got screwed as Vince is being an ass on this. Even though this is as good a place as any for him at the moment, I'm sure he's none too pleased with this position. In any case, as I've said before, he'll be on SD by the end of the year, tops.
