WWE "Superstars" Debut Date

WWE has been running ads in conjunction with WGN, the network which will be broadcasting the upcoming "Superstars" program, noting that the show will debut on Thursday April 16th at 8pm EST. Although the show is advertising appearances by Raw, Smackdown and ECW superstars, we reported several months ago that the show will most likely only feature talent that is rarely seen on WWE programming. The hope within WWE is that this new show will give talent that mainly works dark matches or house shows the opportunity to be seen on TV.
