Apparently, Coldplay's frontman and the British singer-songwriter, who look strikingly similar, are never seen in the same room at the same time.
While looking at a picture of Martin, even Morrison sees the similarities, saying: "I can see why because I do see it myself.
"I think it must be his conk nose and his bouffant hair. I think he probably might use a little bit of lip balm. He's got more of a man jaw than me though."
Morrison said: "Apparently he gets people thinking that he is me so it's an even keel on the annoying thing."
Morrison said he would be keen to swap with Martin for a gig but would have to "try and play the piano".
