Paul J. Black sent along the following to WZ:
I recently saw the new WWE "Greatest Stars Of The 90s" which was released recently on DVD and noticed a few interesting things.
One, WWE absolutely trashed Lex Luger in their portion of him on the documentary. Aside from a lot of little digs, one funny thing was how it was mentioned that the one thing you'll always remember when you hear the name Lex Luger, is when he bodyslammed Yokozuna. Funny enough, it wasn't done just in anti-anything-WWE fashion, as Sting, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall (two of which are current top TNA Wrestling performers, one of which who has never even competed in WWE), were put over like a million bucks - especially Sting.
For those curious, those who were included in the new documentary of greatest stars of the 1990s new WWE DVD are: Shawn Michaels, Yokozuna, The Rock, Kevin Nash, Owen Hart, Ric Flair, Mick Foley, Hulk Hogan, Triple H, Bret Hart, Lex Luger, Sting, Scott Hall, Undertaker and Steve Austin.
The documentary also included segments on the not-so-greatest characters in 90s wrestling, random WWE Divas and a bit on WWE-WCW-ECW promoters - Vince McMahon, Eric Bischoff and Paul Heyman.
