The Wrestling Observer is reporting that WWE did originally have plans to use Mae Young in the 25 Diva Battle Royal at Wrestlemania 25. However, the decision was made to pull her from the match when they were reminded of the scare they had the last time Young was in the ring and had an awkward fall. WWE then decided to use Joy Giovanni in the match as a plan B for Mae Young.
