When it comes to booking for WWE's live events, John Laurinaitis is now doing all the matches and finishes then turning it into creative before the weekend. If creative needs to change something, they get back to him. The basic ground rules are that faces go over in the match unless the heel is a bigger star, always send people home happy and that the main event is face goes over unless it's a title match and you have a heel Champion defending, in which case the heel will go over or the face will lay him out afterward. They may do a DQ finish but they are trying to limit non-finishes at live events.
