According to sources, new WWE champion Batista is scheduled for surgery on Tuesday morning for a torn bicep, which he sustained prior to his match with Randy Orton at ‘Extreme Rules’ and was a likely factor for the match being so fast.
Batista just came back from a hamstring injury at the beginning of April and it is no secret that he was rushed back to TV and asked to work a full schedule with house shows.
One would expect an angle to be shot Monday night on ‘Raw’ and lead to Batista dropping the title.
