World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of SmackDown Superstar Umaga as of today, June 8, 2009. WWE wishes Umaga the best in all future endeavors.

You have got to be kidding me? Although he was annoying he was actually someone worth watching at some points, I'm actually disappointed, my guess is drugs.

I'm not a fan of Umagas, although I must admit he had been more interesting lately, I dont get some of these releases, personally I don't like the move.

Maybe he just wanted to do radio for awhile, lol.

I actually perfer Umaga to Joe. I don't know what they'd do with him in TNA (as he wouldn't be able to use the Umaga character) but I wouldn't be opposed to seeing him try to put something together over there.

Why push someone and then release him just days later????

Have WWE decided who to release by drawing names out of a hat or something? Cause they really doesn't seem to think things through these days...
