Brian S. sent along the following:

Here's an update on a story you have posted about past Wellness Policy violations. Your original article read:

» Randy Orton is sitting on one strike. In August 2006, he was quietly suspended for 30 days for his first violation of the company's drug testing policy — reportedly due to a drug test failure. Starting in September 2004 through February 2007, Orton received somatropin, nandrolone and stanozolol. In August 2007, company officials reasoned that Orton had already served his punishment due to his drug policy violation from the prior year — thus he was not suspended. However, Orton continued receiving pharmaceuticals through February 2007 — well past the date of his initial drug test failure.

I was reading this, but I want to correct it. Randy Orton is one strike away from being fired. He failed two drug tests in the past.

I dont remember the correct dates for his failed drug tests, but I remember one of them being in 2007 and the other being in 2008. When he was going through that collar bone injury. He was really suspended for 60 days for violating the WWE wellness policy.

He was also suspended in 2007 the same time that Chris Masters was suspended for 30 days.

Randy Orton is not sitting on one strike. He is sitting on two strikes and one strike away from getting terminated from the company, if the policy is legitimate.

He's learnt a lesson now he's a dad. If he leaves I'd be shocked. They'd cover it up.

This isn't true. The person who "corrected" the story is wrong. The collar bone injury was legit, the only faked injury was the ankle injury. He SHOULD have been suspended when everyone was for the online thing, but he "told the WWE before the story broke, coming clean without failing a drug test, so he wasn't suspended." He was never actually suspended a second time.
