The Real Reason WWE Raw Is Airing Commercial-Free Next Week

While the storyline is that next Monday's edition of WWE Raw will air commercial-free for the first time in the show's 17-year-history under the new "ownership" of Donald Trump, the show is actually airing commercial free at the request of the USA Network. Network officials wanted to do something to capitalize on Monday night ratings with the lack of competition in the summer months. The network is expected to lose close to a half million dollars in advertising revenue.

Next week's edition of Raw will broadcast from the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Donald Trump is scheduled to appear live.
