WWE sent the following press release to several national french media:
Paris, June 22th 2009 - World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) shows his support to Xavier Darcos and the policy against violence in schools conducted by the french government.
As for action movies or television series, WWE's programs are scripts written and performed by trained professionals. However, unlike some forms of entertainment, WWE insists on a regular basis on the message "Do not try this at home". This is part of the campaign of prevention and safety conducted by the WWE.
WWE thinks it's important to support parents, educational staff, to help children to understand the difference between fiction and reality.
WWE plans to work with members of government, consumer bodies and family to develop its efforts in prevention among young people.
