It's being said that Vince McMahon is pretty high on R-Truth’s Pretty Ricky character. The gimmick came to life when R-Truth was seen doing it backstage just messing around and a WWE official liked it. Smackdown writer Chris DeJosephs is in charge of producing the skits. Some of the stuff you see in the skits is legit such as him trying to go over the merchandise table with security stopping him and when he goes up to random people to talk.
