Busy weekend for WWE, as in addition to the usual Raw and Smackdown house shows (including a Monday event for Smackdown) and TV events, they are also splintering off another crew from Smackdown to hold tent shows on Saturday and Sunday (shows with the bizarre main event of CM Punk vs. Great Khali vs. Kane). TNA is off this weekend.
The Raw brand starts their run tonight, July 31st at the Bob Carpenter Center in Newark, Delaware with John Cena, Randy Orton, Mark Henry and MVP scheduled to appear.
Raw then runs on Saturday, August 1st at the Stabler Arena in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
Raw has a house show on Sunday, August 2nd at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, New York.
Raw broadcasts on Monday, August 3rd from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut with Jeremy Piven as the guest host and Triple H vs. Ted DiBiase & Cody Rhodes in a handicap match. The advertised dark match main event is Triple H & John Cena vs. Randy Orton & Big Show.
Smackdown starts their run tonight, July 31st at the Casino Ballroom in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire with Rey Mysterio vs. Dolph Ziggler and John Morrison vs. CM Punk as the advertised main events.
Smackdown then has a split crew on Saturday, August 1st. One crew will run at the South Shore Music Circus in Cohasset, Massachusetts with The Great Khali vs. Kane vs. CM Punk as the main event. Ricky Steamboat is also listed as appearing.
The other crew will run at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire with Chris Jericho & Big Show vs. Cryme Tyme as the main event and Rey Mysterio appearing on the card.
Smackdown has another double shot on Sunday, August 2nd with one crew at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, New York. The other crew is at the Cape Cod Melody Tent in Hyannis, Massachusetts with the Kane vs. Khali vs. Punk main event.
