Earlier Wednesday, WWE United States Champion Kofi Kingston seemed to confirm his involvement in a Summerslam match on Twitter. "Bout to have my Summerslam tights designed. Gonna be a hot one," said Kingston, only to later clarify, "Wow! I am getting ahead of myself! Hopefully I'm ON summerslam! Well i've got my tights ready either way." It is unclear if he truly was "getting ahead of himself" or if the retraction was in response to press coverage for the comments.
