While reports have repeatedly confirmed that WWE is interested in booking a live RAW encounter between The Big Show and NBA great Shaquille O'Neal, Show told ESPN Radio that such a match is unlikely.
"I'd love to rock and roll with Shaq," said Big Show, before qualifying, "I don't foresee anything like that being able to take place...Shaq is very valuable to the NBA and to his team. I don't think the risk/reward factor is there for Shaq." Show nonetheless added that a matchup between the two would be appealing to WWE fans and to the broader sports audience.
Though Show referred to Shaq as a "man among boys" in the paint on the basketball court, he said that O'Neal is "transparent" when he stands next to a legitimate giant like The Big Show.
The Big Show also addressed his Summerslam bout with Cryme Tyme, putting over the up-and-coming challengers as very popular with WWE's fans.
