Wrestling News World reader Hayden Fox sent the following report:

Below are results from the SmackDown/ECW house show from the Canton Memorial Civic Center in Canton, Ohio last night:

Overall the crowd was receptive and ready for smack, to in fact, be laid down, despite the alleged "top shelf" talent competing a few miles away, the show went over well and everyone left in good spirits.

Cryme Tyme vs. The Hart Dynasty
Cryme Tyme emerged victorious during the rousing opening contest, The Pink and Black attack didn't hold up their end of the bargain at times deflating the momentum Cryme Tyme established with what was veering towards becoming a rowdy crowd.

Jimmy Wang Yang vs. Mike Knox, the classic definition of a beer run match. Mike Knox apparently won.

The Hurricane vs. Sheamus
Sheamus reminded everyone there from Canton and gave the Hurricane the "whats for" in the process

John Morrison vs. Dolph Ziggler
Back and forth to and fro, taking the entire crowd along with them, Morrison reinforces that he has more razzle than Ziggler has dazzle and gets the pictureesque victory in a good match, fading into intermission.

William Regal, Vladimir Koslov and Ezekiel Jackson vs. Tommy Dreamer and a gang of jobbers.
I couldn't help but notice I was the only person gracing the cagey veteran Regal with a standing ovation, this was another match that led to alcoholism, Regal's team more than likely won.

Kane vs. The Great Kali
Good ol' fashion big man match, Kane pulls off narrowly evading Kali that you can almost see Kane stretching his acting wings and becoming an antagonizing cruiserweight before our very eyes, but The Great Kali stands taller in a crowd pleaser.

CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio
Headlining one night prior to being banished to suspension, this match produced most of what you would want to expect, CM Punk wins clean to retain the World Heavyweight Title, but Rey rains on his parade by hitting the 619 during Punks pompous celebration, much to the delight of the crowd.

Despite there being a few large pockets of empty seats the WWE Universe was heard and mysteriously we were all home in time to catch the main event on Raw....
