We are live on tape from Rockford, Illinois and your announcers are Jim ‘Now I can watch the League Championship Games in January . . . Thanks PWInsiderElite.com’ Ross and Todd ‘What about the special episode of 90210 on January 31st’ Grisham.
Jim Ross’ welcome to the show is rudely interrupted by the gong of the Undertaker and he comes to the ring. Taker has a mic and after looking around for a while, he decides to talk. He says that the sands of time have slowly fallen through the hourglass, but in two days he will reclaim the World Title and once again cast his shadow of darkness over Smackdown. Taker says that CM Punk is growing very tired. He says that Punk is constantly waking up in the middle of night in a pool of his sweat consumed in fear because he knows that his ‘breaking point’ will be realized when he feels the grip of Hell’s Gate. Taker says that submission is the only alternative to an eternity of pain. Taker says that when Punk submits . . . and he will submit, not only will he relinquish the World Title, he will personally hand Taker his soul. The symphony of lies shall end.
Not to be outdone, CM Punk comes out. Punk laughs at Taker’s comments and he comments on the symphony of lies. Punk says that is like the pot calling the kettle black. He says that he sees through the smoke and mirrors. While Hardy was the charismatic enabler, Taker is so much worse because Taker has preyed on their chemically influenced minds for almost twenty years. Punk says that Taker is this generation’s Alice in Wonderland. He talks about the drugs that the hippies used. Punk says that the people actually believe in the Undertaker. They believe that Taker can withstand any beating and that he has magical powers to come back and vanquish any foe. Punk says the fans actually believe that Taker has a chance to beat him on Sunday. They believe Taker because of the list of victims on Taker’s resume.
Many think that Punk will be easily added to Taker’s list of souls. Punk says that he is stronger than all of the men Taker has faced in the past. Punk says that he is not after Taker’s soul, he just wants to make Taker tap out. Punk asks what the fans will think when they lose the Undertaker right after they lost Jeff Hardy. Now they will watch their heroic icon submit to the Anaconda Vice. They will retreat back into their little world and grab 40 ounces of liquid courage to feel better. He suggests that they will pop a few extra pain pills because of the knowledge that Taker tapped out. Punk says that they will get a glimpse tonight when he makes Matt Hardy tap to the Anaconda Vice. He asks Taker not to get involved and look at the world that we will see after he makes Taker tap out at Breaking Point. There will be one true icon and it will be the ‘choice of a new generation’. Punk tells everyone to just say no.
Taker says that Punk has something wrong. The fans won’t be saying ‘Just Say No’. They will be saying ‘Rest in Peace’.
We go to commercial.
