TMZ.com's original report on Jeff Hardy said they "were told" Jeff's brother, Matt, posted bail to get Jeff out of jail.
A few hours later, Jeff posted a Twitter message saying Matt did not bail him out and, in fact, was just finding out about his ordeal at that time.
After Jeff made his post, TMZ updated their story to cite their original source on Matt being the person who bailed out Jeff Hardy.
Here is what TMZ's updated story states:
"Chief Deputy Neil Godfrey told us Jeff's brother posted bail, which was set at $125,000."
