Nintendo's DSiWare downloadable games initiative hasn't exactly established a great reputation for itself so far; tech demos, calculators, and fragments of retail products are nice, sure, but aside from rare gems like Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again, there haven't been a ton of actual games available from the service. Hudson Entertainment aims to change that with Bomberman Blitz for DSiWare.
According to their announcement, Bomberman Blitz will allow up to eight players to go head-to-head either locally or online. It will also feature 10 maps that span both the DSi's top and bottom screens, and an extensive training mode for honing your skill with explosives before heading online.
No specific release date or price was revealed for the handheld Bomberman. We'll fill in the gaps as soon as we know more, but if this thing turns out, it could be one of the first must-buy DSiWare games in recent memory.
