COLD STONE CREAMERY HOSTS WORLD’S LARGEST ICE CREAM SOCIAL NATIONWIDE, WITH AND WWE® SUPERSTARS HOSTING MAKE-A-WISH® FUNDRAISING EVENT IN NYC
EVENT: Cold Stone Creamery hosts Eighth “World’s Largest Ice Cream Social” with WWE to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation® -- Cold Stone Creamery® is teaming with World Wrestling Entertainment® (WWE) to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation. WWE Superstars the Hart Dynasty™ and Maria™ will be at the Times Square Cold Stone store serving ice cream and mingling with guests while collecting donations for the Make-A-Wish Foundation as part of this nationwide fundraising event.
Everyone who donates to the Make-A-Wish Foundation will receive a FREE 3 oz serving of Jack’s Creation, the featured Creation made by 5-year-old wish kid Jack from New York City . Jack met with Cold Stone Creamery Tastemaster, Ray Karam, to create his special Creation earlier this year, a delicious combination of Sweet Cream ice cream, brownies, sprinkles and caramel. Jack will also be at the Times Square Cold Stone store serving up his Creation alongside the WWE Superstars.
WHO: Supporters of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, fans of WWE and ice cream lovers are encouraged to partake in this indulgent event, cooling off with ice cream and supporting a great cause.

WHEN: Thursday, Sept. 24, 2009. The fundraising event is from 5-8 pm, but the WWE Superstars and Wish Kid Jack will be dishing up ice cream from 5:30 – 7 pm. Free ice cream for a donation will be served during the entire event.
WHAT: Cold Stone Creamery has supported the Make-A-Wish Foundation since 2002, generating $3.2 million in donations. Cold Stone has dedicated the month of September to raising funds for the Foundation. In addition to the event, guests can donate $1 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation and receive a paper wish star to write their name on that will be posted inside stores during the month.
