World Wrestling Entertainment has until 11/16 to respond to Joe "The Assassin" Hamilton's breach of lawsuit against the company for severing their developmental deal with Hamilton's Deep South Wrestling.
WWE has knocked a number of Hamilton's claims out already and at this point, the case looks to hinge upon whether WWE ignored their own contractual agreement of providing Hamilton and DSW with 90 days' notice that they would be shutting down the Atlanta developmental territory in favor of OVW and Florida Championship Wrestling.
While WWE has claimed that contractually, they were within their rights to shut down DSW, it will be up to the court to decide whether the company did it correctly within the parameters of their agreement with Hamilton.
WWE was originally set to respond on 11/10, but was granted a brief extension.
